This app is your personal art guide through Venice and to the Biennale Arte 2026, curated by Martina Uster and Adi Winkler, who don't simply report on Venice but are part of its art world. They bring decades of expertise, deep cultural knowledge and a unique network that gives you insights far beyond any travel guide.
As personal Venice curators they open doors to the hidden treasures of the Serenissima and to the very latest contemporary art. With ARTBEAT.news you are not part of the crowd — Martina and Adi take you behind the scenes: to the national pavilions, to the major main exhibitions, to the many exhibitions and events in Venice, to the hidden insider tips off the beaten track — and to their personal gourmet recommendations.
The team behind ARTBEATWith degrees in business studies, cultural management and a master's in business ethics, she combines intellectual breadth with practical creative power. She is not an art historian in the classical sense — and that is exactly what makes her so valuable: she brings something the art world often loses: a moral compass and the rare ability to see ethics and aesthetics not as opposites but as two sides of the same energy.
She didn't just discover Venice as a traveller but chose it as her adopted home. She knows the art scene of the lagoon city from years of personal presence, from exhibitions, conversations and those quiet moments when a work truly begins to speak. Her special gift lies in not explaining art but making it tangible.
Founder, owner and managing director of Wirtschaftsethik Institut WEISS GmbH — for 15 years.
As a journalist and historian, trained in Vienna and Klagenfurt, he brings an analytical eye that always places artworks in their larger cultural and social context. For decades he shaped one of Austria's most influential daily newspapers — as business editor and for over 15 years as deputy editor-in-chief of the Kleine Zeitung.
Today Venice is his second home and the Biennale his terrain. He knows the protagonists of the international art scene personally and opens doors to curators, gallerists and artists. With the eye of a historian and the instinct of an editor-in-chief, he navigates the Biennale like a well-researched story: he knows where the real sentences are spoken.
